    Default Ammonia?

Guys, I think I might have ammonia but it's hard to tell from the reading:

What do you think? Lol! I'm curing some LR for me and a friend. I've never seen the API kit detect so much ammonia it was navy blue. I added some zeobak to help it along a bit.

I am personally switching to Salifert over API, too many bad readings, I would have somebody double check for you or go to an LFS

Yeah, you may have some NH3 there. You should be good to add fish now!

    Default Ammonia?

I've had great luck with the API kit for ammonia and high nitrate readings. If you want a really accurate nitrate reading, it's not good. I expected to have ammonia since its fresh uncured LR. I just thought it was funny that it was navy blue there was so much.

Cory - Cool, I'm adding a few tangs, sharks, lookdowns and seahorses. They should be ok in 20g long, right? I mean, I have a fake Ferris wheel and everything for them!

20L is WAY too big for that, might want to consider a penguin or two.

I think you're right, I mean, I don't want them to drown because there's too much water volume! It might help if I add some acros, anemones and some blueberry gorgs. I think that'll give everything what it needs! I just got to keep my ammonia levels up real high like in the ocean. You know, the cycle.
