    Default outdoor kitchen

I'm kicking around the idea of building a small outdoor....grill, mini fridge, storage area and plenty of counter space. I will probably skip the sink since running water lines might be tough and city code issues....has anyone done a DIY project like this?

There are several premade kits out there that make it easy. If you're on a budget then a DIY project isn't bad.

At my dads house in Houston I built a fairly nice set up for him. The grill was a ready made counter top unit. The frame was built out of metal studs with a concrete base. From there we put on cement board and did a rock exterior.

Do a google search for plans or look on HGTV or DIY channel on the web.

We didn't buy a kit I did it from ideas. It's not too difficult and we saved a large amount by doing it our selves.

If you want a kit there are several places that offer them. You can get them from Home Depot and Lowes through special order.

    Here are a couple links.

I wasn't going after a kit at first but it i'll check them out.

originally I was going to find a plan and was thinking of using cement blocks vs. metal studs, but i'm open to what might be easier or less expensive.

    Thanks!
