Thread: Tree experts?

    Default Tree experts?

Live oaks? They were the bane of my existence when I had the business. Lol
Some of the hybrids you see around here are nice and hardy, but the spring leaf drop and up shoots are killer.

Good advice on the trimming Kevin. I also look at limbs that have more than a 45 degree angle. They can be problems later on in the trees life.

I agree about oaks being a pita, had three mature (25+ feet) on lot, now down to two and between the leaves, the up shoots, and the dense canopy (they've been trimmed) its hard to maintain a lawn underneath them

It is where you think you have a baby tree coming up next to a big one, only to find out it is an upshoot from the roots of the existing tree
