Lighting opinions
I have a 56 gallon mix reef tank 30"X18"X24". I'm looking to upgrade from the T-5/stunner strip frankenjobby light set up I have now. I was looking at getting two Ecoray 64ds but then I was also looking at an Ecoray 72dx. It seems the Ecoray 72 would fit my foot print better and would be cheaper than two Ecoray 64ds. But the important factor is getting good light for my corals.
What are y'alls opinions on these lights or others for that matter. I'm still a new guy on the reef.
Thanks

No not another light thread!!!..... Lol
we need a lighting section....
The ecorays work, and there is many using them including Dan at JOTs...
Is your current lighting in a canopy or a fixture?

It's on the leg/sands that came with it sitting on the tank, but I will be building a canopy to fit whatever light I get.

It worked well in my 30 gallon tank. It was too blue for my taste but the corals will pop which is cool.

Plenty of options if you have a canopy....
You can run a ecoray and add a t5 retro to aid in color...
