I have been feeding nori to my yellow and blue tangs and they have always taken to it nicely. I recently added a powder blue and he won't touch the stuff. What's a good macro algae for tangs?

How long have you had it? Did you see it eat before you purchased it? Have you tried feeding frozen food? How big are the other fish in the tank? Are the other fish letting the PBT try to eat?
I've always fed mine caulerpa prolifia and grape caulerpa

grape caulerpa!..

They all eat mysis just fine, but when it comes to the nori the pbt will sniff around but is not interested.
I heard that caulerpa can take over a tank quick, do you just grow it in the fuge and toss some in the main display as needed or what?

I grow grape caulerpa and chaeto in my sump. Whenever I throw a handful of either in my display tank it's gone by the next day. My yellow tang, foxface rabbitfish and sailfin take care of that. I recently also got a vlimangii tang too. I think he wouldn't let that stuff stay long either. I don't know what a powder blue would eat. My point is that if you put a small amount in there, your yellow tang probably wouldn't let it spread. Calcerous algaes like halameda are another story. My tangs won't eat that. If it does spread, I think you should be able to pull it out pretty easily.

Big whorls have little whorls, Which feed on their velocity;
And little whorls have lesser whorls, And so on to viscosity

Thanks for the info. I would like to try both and see which they prefer. I'll have to my eye open for some, people seem to give it away quiet often.
