Tank temperature
Do it slowly.
I've always heard that 78 was like the perfect temp. But my first tank stayed at 82. One day it climbed to 85 and my snowflake didn't make it. Not sure if that was due to the temp though.
Since them I've labored to keep it no higher than 80. Now I keep it at 78.5 with the RKE. I think I'm going to ride the temp up one half degree a day until I'm at 81 and let her ride for a few weeks. Just to see if there's a noticeable change.
If algae starts up... Well coral growth isn't that important to me.
