Camping Anyone???

I'm planning on having my travel trailer at Goose Island for the MAAST trip. They have a fantastic pavilion area over there with covered tables. Maybe we could all have a get together/wiener/marshmallow/whatever roast. Plenty of room for kids to run wild all over the place too.

I forgot to mention, Goose Island also has some lovely nature/birdwatching trails as well. I plan on going down a day or two early and getting in some fishing and collecting, if anyone wants to join me.

I would love to go and bring the family, just not sure if it is doable just yet. When we lived in Aransas Pass we loved to fish out on Goose Island. Kids liked to catch crabs from the piers.

Would any of yall with kids want to plan a weekend camping trip to the river some time in late may early june? We have an 8 year old.

I will talk to the wife see if we can make it.

Awesome! That brings back memories. I caught them all the time as a kid in South Texas. I think they're one of the coolest lizards and they live in our backyard!
