I forgot to mention, Goose Island also has some lovely nature/birdwatching trails as well. I plan on going down a day or two early and getting in some fishing and collecting, if anyone wants to join me.

I would love to go and bring the family, just not sure if it is doable just yet. When we lived in Aransas Pass we loved to fish out on Goose Island. Kids liked to catch crabs from the piers.
