Default Full overflow? Vs. Partial overflow?

    These are full overflow boxes

I'm working with a 75gal tank right now.

For purposes of this debate - lets assume ALL pieces of this glass aquarium can be drilled.

Which is better to use in an aquarium?

I understand that a c2c (coast to coast) overflow would ultimately be better - I just don't have the resources to implement THAT style,

Default Full overflow? Vs. Partial overflow?

Depends on situation for me. On my large tank I went with full overflows because I wanted the tank as close to the wall as I could. It saved 6" and made the stand look better in my opinion.

Now, on my latest planning session I plan on doing external overflows so I can save space in the tank.

I too am a fan of the full sized for the same reason as John stated. It is, however, a bigger and harder area to clean depending on the overall depth. Of course this all depends on location and personal preference as well
