I have some ceramic rings and biobale that I put into my nano cube to build up bacteria. Once the bacteria has colonized on the media, I'm going to use it in a filter for a qt tank. I plan to keep colonized media in a tank at all times to use for this purpose. My question is, how long does it take for bacteria to colonize on it? Are we talking around a week or more like a month?
