raising magnesium levels for hair algae

Depending on what it was i probably would have. Ha ha. Every time i saw aptasia or weird hair algae i would toss the frag. This one snuck in and took over while i was gone.

Just as an update. I did this treatment and i didn't even get to 1600 before it started dying. At about 1300 it was already browning and falling apart. So i went through and picked off all the loose stuff. As of today i don't see any hair algae or bryopsis. I am at 1600ish now and going to leave it at that level for another week before i stop dosing it. Only annoying was finding that happy amount to dose that would only raise the magnesium level between 50 and 100 ppm a day so as to not shock the system. After that it was easy.
