    Default Sea hair chopped !!!!

Has anyone ever has a sea hair stuck on a powerhead? Ours got caught in the power head tonight just for a few seconds before I got to him. His head was tore up pretty bad and now our skimmer is pulling straight purple from the water. I am making new water for a water change right now but I was wondering what y'all think about this and no if there is anything else I should do!
