    Default 48" 250w MH & T5 fixture

    I would love to proven completely wrong so I can buy something new!! I hope it happens, I like the small clean look of the led fixtures and controllability. the vertex eric wants is the only one I've seen that can compete or outperform mh. I'm thinking of buying my friends fixture..... but again even used it a lot of cash.

    He traded cause he was tired of saving cash and didn't care for bulbs that last 5 million hours duh!

    im a LED fan and i currently use them, correct me if i'm wrong but leds while they do last a long time, doesn't the spectrum shift from year to year, requiring it to be replaced eventually? and which is why its common to run leds at 70% or so and not the full 100% to stretch their efficiency period. food for thought.

    I read an article documenting a 3% loss in efficacy per year when run at it maximum amperage.
