WOW, so you only waist 1.5 gallons versus the 3 gallons on my old system? What do you think cost is to make 1 gallon?

I would hate having to buy water again.... Something I never really liked and when I bought my RO unit it made maintenance a little bit more tolerable....

I am currently running my waste water down the laundry drain and been meaning to pick up some sort of storage that will keep the mosquitoes out.....

what are you all using? Mine would need to be mobile....

You pump it out? Or you have a valve rigged on there?

I out a ball valve in the bottom of my brute on wheels. I use the "waste" to water the plants in pots around the yard.

Due to an unfortunate canister breakage a long time ago, I only hook mine temporarily outside and run the waste water to water the grass. I just put a longer hose on it and move it around the yard. Good slow soaker, but it is a pain to have to hook it up and then put it away all the time.

I hooked up this 44 gallon brute and it was filled after 10-15 gallons of DI water...

Might just route the line into my gutters....
