I couldn't stand the life proof case. Worst 90 I spent.
It does what it is supposed to - protect the phone. The issue was everything it took away in accessibility. Couldn't easily mute it, couldn't use the speaker phone option.

Same here, with the new iPhone 5 case. It stunk. So I had them replace it and it's WAY better. Really ticked off that the 1st one arrived defective, and they made me pay to send the old one back. That single issue would keep me from buying again. Then again, this was my old phone, which I LOVED (and yes, it is IN the tank):
