    Default Possible Lithophyllon undulata?

I was curious if any of our members had any ideas on this guy I picked up yesterday. I was told is a chalice but I think differently.

I just got it so I'm not sure if it will color up any more.

I think it is a chalice. I have seen some funky looking chalices in LFS that have made me think they were something else and within a month or two in my own tank they start looking normal.

Also have seen chalices look real meaty looking in tanks that were not sufficient in lighting.

You've owned a litho before, Rob. The way these coralites are laid out looks the same as my other litho. Ill have to take a better pic later tonight.

    Here's a little closer pic.

Yeah, I have and the base of the ones I owned were very thick.

Here is a pic of my litho:

I honestly think you have a hollywood stunner chalice that is washed out, here is one a little after it started healing from lack of light and started to color back up..

I'll keep an eye on it. I think the sweepers will be the tell tale sign of the species. While chalices have the sweepers exending from the eyes and the litho from the ridges.

Lol. Yeah, they are. That's a really horrible pic of it too.

Updated pic as it in settling in and starting to puff up a bit.

I'm almost completely sure it's not a chalice after looking at the sweeper extension.
