Umm..... I THINK it's aragonite sand mostly. I also did an experimment several years back where I used tailings from a quarry. That stuff's all calcium carbonate, and worked pretty good as well. I don't know if there's any in this tank or not. I kind of doubt it, but I honestly don't remember.
