So you want a reservoir full of DI water, AND you want to avoid the effects of TDS creep (shortened DI resin life and high TDS water reaching your reservoir) AND you want your RODI system to turn on and off automatically?
Buckeye’s new Hi-Lo Tank Level Controller solves the problem!
This auto top off solution includes two float switches – one installed low in the reservoir, and one installed high. The system can be used to open a solenoid on the RODI feedwater tube when water in the reservoir drops below the bottom float switch. The system will then cut off when water reaches the upper float switch. This configuration avoids short-cycling – the constant on/off cycles that prematurely exhaust your DI resin and deliver not-so-clean water to your reservoir.
You end up with a reservoir with DI water levels that remain between the two floats, maximum life on your DI resin stage, and minimum TDS water delivered to the reservoir.
Feel free to give us a call to discuss how the Hi-Lo Tank Level Controller can solve your situation.
