Most LFS have all these fish with the exception of the octopus. Do keep in mind octopus are a poisonous predator and will consume small fish given the chance. Not to mention they are highly intelligent and amazing escape artists due to the lack of a skeletal system. Just a heads up.

Like Aaron mentioned, the chromis, firefish and hawk fish are rather very commonly seen in local fish stores and are rather very reasonably priced.

I've always wanted an octopus... But a lidded tank with little in the tank except for a rock or two and PVC pipe... And the exceptionally short lifespan... Oh and that they're nocturnal is another reason I'd not keep one.

I think these guys are kept solo as well, right?

I tried an octopus... It was a bad idea. I didn't have a hermit or snail left in my tank. It was a barren waste land of empty shells ha ha. It was before I joined MAAST. Alex at Phenomenal Aquatics use to get them in. He did eventually weasel his way into my over flow down into my sump where he stayed until I had top off issue and my sump had a ton of FW dumped into it and he was no more. You can Ask SinisterLou on here. I complained nonstop about that **** octopus.
