Gl@ss holes 700gph overflow box
Hey all, just put this overflow box on my 40 breeder (1 1/2" overflow x2 3/4" returns). The bottom of the teeth on this this is about an inch below the top plastic frame, I'm wanting to hide the waterline behind this top frame. Question is what would you guys recommend to shorten the teeth, I was thinking either putting a piece of black acrylic behind the teeth at the bottom, or just some black silicone in each tooth to raise the water level. Thoughts?

I'd do a piece of acrylic if I had to but I don't think either idea will be very appealing IMHO. Personally, I kinda like to see the water level in a tank. You might be able to get someone to cut a piece of black acrylic and weld it on the front of the overflow, but it still may look out of place. Ace (hobogato) does acrylic work.
