I am making full use of my midlife crisis years and trying EVERYTHING!
Today's fall was off a barrel racing horse (this Western stuff is new to me and I am actually trying it in my little English saddle). Totally my fault. I hadn't tightened the saddle enough and the saddle slipped sideways in a fast turn.
It's really only my 4th fall this year and the year is almost over!

John, maybe something more specific. You could be a hand model or hat model or similar?

I have one! but that doesn't help my rear end plus it tends to kind of spook the horses when the cartridge pops

I'd actually be more scared of falling off a horse than my motorcycle.

Shoot, I fell off a horse that wasn't even moving... Long way down. Hurt.

Allan, why didn't you just put your legs down and let the horse walk out from under you?

Haha. That was funny Jack. Allan would have to have a Tennessee Walker.

I could imagine the horses at the stable drawing straws or playing rock, paper, scissors to see who had to cart Allan around.

Jokes on you, John, you need fingers to play scissors.

My brother in laws noted last time I was on the ranch, that it was the first time they'd ever seen a horse with training wheels.
