Default Where to purchase acrylic in San Antonio?

I've bought acrylic sheet cut to order from Regal in the past but I am wondering if there is another place I should get a quote from. Does anybody know of another reputable supply company in the San Antonio area?

    Thanks,

Regal is the easiest to deal with. There is another off of Josephine st but I can't remember the name right now.

SA plastics is the most expensive place in town on most things.
Also try allied plastics. It's hit or miss between the three. Each will have cheaper prices on different things.

Thanks guys. Regal quoted me $310 for 1/2" material to make a 28 x 16 x 18 tank. It seemed high but I don't buy acrylic often and I know 1/2" is fairly thick. I was planning to build a rimless tank so I figured 1/2" was necessary rather than 3/8". 3/8" was almost $100 less.

1/2" seems thick for a tank that size.

From my experience, Allied seems to be cheaper. Almost half price sometimes. So I'd get quotes from both Regal and Allied. They're both off Rittiman and 35.

i am afraid that you will eventually have bowing even with 1/2" on that front piece if you make it rimless. you should be able to get all the pieces you need out of a single sheet - 4'x8' including a piece for the top for eurobracing. last time i checked at allied, a whole sheet of 1/2" was about $225.

Thanks ace for the reply, I guess I will brace it. I'm not looking for a bowfront ! I'll also check with Allied. The price from Regal included cutting all the pieces, but there was no specific amount for cutting specified on the quote so they may not charge for cutting.
