Montipora bleached
Hello all.
I've had frags of German blue montipora in my tank for about a month and a half. They looked great for awhile. Now, most are completely bleached. I have one that is not under direct lighting that still has it's brown. I'm pretty sure that it was two things that did this. They were under LED's that were hung pretty high off the tank, and the tank they were in, was covered in algae while my tank has zip.
Does anyone know how to get these guy's back to there orignal brown blue polyped color? They actually look kinda cool bleached. Snow white with blue/purple polyps.

On my experience sps seems to be very sensitive. Any change in any of the parameters like temperature, overdosing, no water changing, etc . . . lighting will bleach them.
I could be totally wrong but you have to find that sweet spot and dont change. just my thoughts
happy reefing
