Support marine aquaculture, and share with your friends! Then you will find out who they really are.

ah i couldnt find them for some reason but i was doing more searching today and found some really nice Plankton Reactors which seem to be a really cool idea not sure why they are not more common and once again the majority of the ones i could find for sale were in the UK. i had never even heard of them before and iv been in the hobby for almost 2 years now.
Supposedly they can keep a continuous culture going which is dosed into your tank all day everyday with little maintenance.

Has anybody ever used one or heard if these reactors can actually keep a culture going?

Was pretty bored today so i came up with this Phyto Reactor Design that i just might make for the fun of the build. It is about 1 foot tall and about 5" in diameter would hold roughly about 1 gallon.
It would be setup with my dosing pump to empty out about 1/4 of culture every couple days then automatically topped off when that float switch activates

Old Post, but I found this site. Pretty pricey IMO:
