What's your luck with Goniopora?
Hello Everyone,
I am new to this organization and fairly new to reef keeping. I just started my first reef tank (46g) about 6 months ago and everything is going well. However it was brought to my attention that the first coral I ever bought is also one of the most challenging; a green Goniopora. I've been told they die after about a year. Mine seems to be doing well and even growing, I can't imagine that it will suddenly die. I was just wondering what you guys' and gals' luck has been with this species and what conditions you keep it under. Mine is placed at the bottom of my tank in a deep sand bed almost directly under my lights and seems to love it. I feed it cyclops frozen oyster eggs (daily) and marine snow (weekly).
