Just curious if it's possible to keep tongue corals and plate corals with a bare bottom tank. If not, which other corals do not fare well without sand?

I think it would be easier to keep both of these without sand or a substrate. A lot of the reason for their premature demise is substrate related. Be it sand getting on top of them and irratating them or them scraping themselves over rough substrate.
Awesome man, if you could, starting in November be on the lookout for a long tentacle plate coral for me, something like this

Looking for pretty long tentacles, color is not an issue and looking to spend around 40$ or so.
Also after that purchase I'll be in the market for a tongue coral, similar to the one you guys had when I was there yesterday.
Thanks a lot Steven, it was a pleasure meeting you and checking out your store.
