I hadn't thought about it, I've got 1050 watts over the big tank and 150 over the little one. 1200 watts in the room. But now it's so cool with the fan that the room is very nice.

I've always used a fan over the fuge but running over a portion of the DT really worked a change. Yesterday I lowered the fan from high to medium.

Alton,
The base of some of the acros are bone white. But it hasn't extended past that. I try to pay attention to the type of zoa to minimize the interaction. Lunar a tend to grow taller so I try to keep them away. In the case of the stuber, the sps provides so much shade that the lunar a keep a little distance.

I've also had on sps grow over and around individual polyps. Today when I get home I will photo the base of a valida frag that is pretty much surrounded by zoas to see what it looks like.

None at all? My sps just aren't vibrant enough for me to not go zoa and lps. Todd's tank the sps glowed. When they look like that I can appreciate it. But in my tank I really need the color that the softies provide.
