OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!!!
We have a fairly large feather duster and its head fell off this morning. I have had them die before but the whole body came out of the tube. Now, I can see the featherless worm moving inside its tube. Has any body else experienced this?
Thanks!

This happened to me once. I was told that they shed the feather part sometimes and re grow it. Mine did re-grow.

Yep, they can regrow.
It's a good idea to consider the causes though... fluctuating salinity, predators irritating it, lack of food, etc... if the conditions stabilize it can regrow, but it can take weeks for it to be visible again, so be patient.
