    Default Rapid LED question

I have recently installed these on my 14 gallon biocube. I was wondering how you know if the light is where it needs to be as far as intensity. I have it on a controller at about 30% and it look really bright already. I don’t want to run the risk of having it on to high. Any suggestions?

See if you can borrow or get your hands on a PAR meter. Led can be tricky as the intensity plays tricks on the eyes.

I'll have to do that. If anyone has one that I could borrow that would be great. I can provide a frag or something if needed.

Blue leds can pack a punch too. Most parmeters won't give an accurate reading on the blues so that may cause some discrepancy.

I have a couple of guys in line for the par meter. I'll add you to my list.

Can we sign up for it? I've been calling up there trying to get my hands on it for 6 months.
