I've got a hot pink that should have been quite large by now, but I put it on top of a rock and the edges are growing down all the way around. I think it's reaching for the sandbed so it can have something to support it as it grows out.

Bottom line, I can't bear the thought of breaking a piece off. I think sherita uses a band saw.
