What's up Stephen!?! How's life been treating you?
200g-No Corals Yet!
Well lifes pretty good Erik! How are you doing? My only complaint is I've been laid off for two weeks and while I've had a lot of interest from some great companies with lots of "we need to get you in for an Interview" the interviews are not getti g set due to glacially slow HR departments, hiring managers being on vacation or business travel, so on and so forth. Im ready to get back to it!
I kind of left my aquariums in a holding pattern after my wife and I divorced, last year I started working on them in earnest, now I'm ready to do the last couple of projects then go into overdrive on coral acquisition again. Im really holding back now because drilling the tank will be a major operation, kind of pointless to buy something sensitive before that's done..

Welcome back, Im pretty sure I met you at one of the meetings some time ago. I've been on here myself quite a while... Maastards tend to go on a hiatus from time to time, but find our selves being drawn back to maast like its a giant black hole. I mean this in a positive way of course.

I think we have probably met too - i was pretty active back in the day. used to be on the forums non stop when i worked nights. For a while there, i was just to exhausted to mess much with my tanks much less get on the forums - divorce, new job, sleep disorder - just got to be to much. The lynch pin in the sleep disorder was having surgery on my sinuses a few months ago - now I sleep well for the first time in what seems like a decade. more energy = actually caring about your hobbies again = more success.
And hopefully I'll get hired on here in the next couple weeks which will provide that other essential ingredient - $$$$$.

Glad to hear it man! I picked up a 200g from Alton for 300 bucks! Tank stand and canopy. OH, yeah, and I got married and now have a 2 year old son, and we just bought a house.Good luck out there looking for a job, they're not terribly hard to find, just hard to find one with good people. That's always a PITA. Glad to see you back, we'll have to catch up here soon.

Not hard to find at all - Im a SharePoint Admin - hot tech in the IT field - many of the companies that are approaching me are talking about creating positions for me - that feels pretty good!
