Any one with experience replacing patio doors? Need some advice.

I have put a 1x that i planed down until it fit. then screwed thorough that into the concrete. That took up the space, underneath.

That's a sub sill plate, we use it most of the time when we're installing a ADA/handicap threshold. On that 1X material, make sure it's treated to prevent rot.
