Default Woke up to a sandstorm and some death....

So has anyone ever had sifter cause a spike by tearing up a sanded? This is the only thing I can figure happened.

2 dead fish this morning corals look happy but the tank is a freggin snowglobe.

One of the 2 dead is being consumed by a rock anem and I can't get him free the other is behind my rockwork requiring a full tear down to access.

Is it possible to do a fill tear down pull water into a tote bin and save the corals then retransfer water back like 60/40 and not have a huge return spike?

If not I need some coral babysitters and possibly fish sitters as well. thinking I need to do a total tear down and restart here. As its lookin pretty far gone in terms of accessing the dead fish. If it was something small id prob take my chances but its a large khole tang behind the rock work in a 60.

Any suggestions? I may just pull water 50/50 and go sandless in my small tank for temporary would that be safe to do?

Never had a slow crash before but think everything should be salvageable.
