Default Two bulbs enter one bulb's white

    Disclaimer: I'm new to halides.

I just bought 2 Hamilton 14k 175w Mogul bulbs from an LFS. I like blueish hue.

One bulb looks good and the other looks really white. I've been searching to see if this is common. I've read there is noticeable color change the first 100hrs, however this seems like too much of difference.

I have 2 other older bulbs and the color looks matched. Should I just run them for the time being and see if they stabilize or try to return them before I use them too much?

You can kinda see what I'm talking about, it's more pronounced in person:

I don't think those are the same temp. Either packed wrong or someone switched one is my guess.

This happened to me... I waited a couple weeks to see if there is a change but nothing has happened. So I emailed the company and they send me out a new bulb. Very pleased with the new bulb and it matches with the other one which is a 14k

Something is very wrong. You will not have anything near that much of a color change. Ever.
