i like to start all my acans off low light and flow then acclimate then gradually to where I want them. Feeding them at lights out or during actinic only is best... best chance of polyps being out, then start spot feeding them during normal feeding times to encourage the polyps to stay out all the time. I like to feed the tank reef chilli once a week and then lps marin pellets spot feeding once a week.
I have found all acans to do best in various conditions...some can handle strong flow and light while others like it low. Start low with all and find out what each prefers. Also make sure you don't have any lps nippers.. coral beauty and purple tangs have been bad for me in the past.
