Marine Betta or Comet is called Marine Betta because it shape resemble the fresh water Betta (the ornamental long tail variety). It is a very shy fish, reefsafe but will eat small tiny fish and shrimps. It can be train to eat frozen food easy. Often in a large tank with plenty of live rock, it will just hunt for pods in/on the rock. Very trouble free fish but for the first six months or so, in a large tank, you will not see it often. When you glims at it, it is an extremely graceful and beautiful fish dark brown with white and blue spots.
Best keep in larger tank with plenty of rock. They are slow and methodical hunter, and in tank with a lot of fast moving fish, it will not compete for food easy with these fast feeding fish.
