who is headphone junkie!!!!

i was one back in the days i was collecting headphones....ofcourse there werent as many different kinds as u see em now......

my 2 year old nephew broke my one and only BOSE noise cancelling headphone pair the other da that i had it for 2 years now i am in the market for another one......yesterday i went to bestbuy to check few of em out and i saw dr.dre beats....bit heavy but nice quality and bose has few different aswell.....any one out here had experience with any of these and wanted to share their thoughts...

My little cousin has the dre beats and he swears they are the best. I haven't heard them though.

I have four pair of the Monster Beats,they are hands down the best! I wouldn't buy anything else,we have the Tour studios,Pro Beats ,studio and whatever the smallest ones are called.Pricey but worth every penny and I've owned Bose as well but won't buy another pair

I have recently demo'd several styles. I'm not a big fan of bose...they sound nice, but are not really an accurate sound reproduction. I have also listened to multiple beats (dr. dre) headphones...they have GREAT bass if that's what you're after. However, the have VERY POOR mid/high sound quality. I also listened to the SOUL by ludacris, and they have very good bass as well. they also have MUCH better mid/high sound reproduction. About the same price as the beats...but better sound for my money. The SOUL headphones are what I'm going to pick up next. Just my $0.02

Don't get the beats....


They are garbage IMO... I was going to buy some.. Ended up getting some Sonys that have way better bass and sound deep..

Kids like the beats cause they are trendy right now.. No offense to anyone on here that owns beats, but look who Monster and Dr Dre are targeting with the beats. I only see kids walking with them.

But like monster cable products, they are over rated and over priced IMO. Don't get me wrong monster is good and have a awesome warranty... But you can save some money and get a product that's just as good...

The Sonys I bought were not on display when i bought them and they should be.... IMO they blow away the monsters that are on display for a fraction of the cost.. And it's not cause I'm cheap, I would of paid for the monsters if I felt they were superior... And they fell short.....

Btw Bose is another product thats over hyped and priced..... But it sells and has a targeted market that swears by it...

the MDR-XB500, its not even the top model and it is a better product. Maybe not in looks but in sound.

And I am no sony fanboy, I dont have another product of theirs in my house. Except a PS3 thats a paper weight....
