Thread: Question about Chromis Fishes

    Default Question about Chromis Fishes

So I put two Blue chromis in my tank and I was thinking about adding two green chromis.

Was wondering if they would school together? Or will they do their own thing?

    Thanks in advance.

If they are of similar size they might, but I suspect they'll pair off and do there own thing. Don't be surprisd if they slowly pick each other off. Chromis are known to kill each other off till only a few of the strongest remain.

I started with 4, added 3 (loved to watch them school briefly), but am now down to 1. However, I think that might have more to do with "Slimer" the stingray than with the chromis ;)
