    Anyone out there trying to get rid of a sump pump??

    You should list a few more details. The pumps we use on our systems are usually selected for the size of the tank, water volume, Gallons per hour, internal or external, foot print etc...

    For example, you would not want to put a Mag 12 pump on a 10g aquarium because of a lot of various reasons..

    I have a mag 5 im thinking of putting up for sale, but its to small for a 75g tank unless you want super slow flow through your sump.. Id think something around 900gph would be ideal for a 75-80g tank. Good luck on your search.

    ya think ima go with the Rio 3100 from falcondob (900) per hour, maybe with a powerhead or 2.
