    Default Sick frogspawn

So after all the dramatic improvement over the last couple days I came home from work today to find this on my frogspawn. Anybody know what this is and does it spread and will it kill it and or my other corals?

Are you talking about the white in the mouth area?

I just got back from vacation so I probably missed something but how much flow is it getting there? The coloring looks good so I doubt it's light.

I have 2 Hydor Koralia 1400's and 1 1040 and here's a pic I took yesterday to give you an idea of placement.

I came home one time to a tank with no flow due to a snail shell busting my propeller on my return pump. My frogspawn was twice the size it normally was. Frogspawn and power heads do not mix, find a way to protect your frogspawn from most of the flow.

Well as of today the white spot was gone and it once again looked happy. Weird. I guess it reginerated

Frogspawn can be picky. While I've never seen them do that, they can be off an on. Mine has been refusing to open all the way since I moved to a new tank a month ago (only coral not totally opening), but after I read what Alton posted I moved my koralia just a bit to direct flow over it instead of into it and it seems to be responding well after only a few hours. It is also worth mentioning I moved it to a spot where it got better light a few days ago, it was kind of between fixtures so it was only getting spill instead of direct light.

Glad your guy is doing better.
