    Angry Time Out!

My yellow tang got me today. He's been getting more and more aggressive about me working in the tank. Today he caught me off guard while I was trying to net my target mandarin out of the overflow (again. Not the brightest bulb in the lamp, this one). He tagged me one on my left wrist, not terribly deep, but hurt like the devil, bled like crazy, and angered me to a great extent. Jerk.

I grabbed my net and big tongs and we had a merry chase 'round the tank. He's in timeout in the softy fuge. May just become his permanent home until I get the predator tank back up and running.

    Bad fish!

Now I just need to get the chalk bass out of the frag tank. He doesn't eat corals, but I've had enough of him stealing from them.

hahaha! That stinks. My captive bred/raised black and white clowns just started messing with me. The black one nips me everytime I put my hand in the tank, I have flicked him several times and made contact with his head...I felt bad but he stopped. little punk. Don't you know I feed you...or that I have the choice not to? I LOVE my clowns though....just show me some respect.

I've never been sliced by a tang...not looking forward to that one. I kind of sound like a little girl when the clowns nip me so not sure what kind of noise I will make from a slice and dice by a tang.

Bahahaha! Too funny. When the tang got me, I sounded like..........a sailor. Not amused at all. I think he's gonna stay where he is till the predator tank is back up and running. At least I *KNOW* I have to be careful in that tank.

Ace, there has got to be some kind of toxin. The slash on my arm is not deep at all. The pain was WAY out of proportion to the injury. And it hurt for a good while.

You got that right. Lionfish stings will get your attention, for sure. Major, instant pain.

Urchin stings can be ugly too :(
