Default Quick question on my Apexs energy bar 4??? not a networking question!!!

I recently purchase a EB4 and wanted to control my chiller through it...This EB 4 is plugged into a dedicated 20amp breaker for chiller only...
every time my chiller kicks in it runs for about few minutes and the white switch on the EB4 trip and shuts the chiller down...
I am running a 3/4 hp chiller which pulls roughly around 17.1 amps according to my apex dnt know if this info is helpful to figure whats going on
    Thanks

I have no experience with these units, but are you sure the relay can handle the current? 17A is quite a lot, if the relay is not rated for that, it could be a problem. A 20A relay wouldn't be uncommon to have, but I don't know the specs on that unit. I picked up a few solid state relays for my DIY AC control and they are only 2A so I have to be careful what I run through them.

It won't handle it 3 of the outlets run at 8 amps and the 4th is a 12 amp outlet with a 15 amp breaker thats why its tripping the switch.
