Default 3ft fixture that sits on a 40 breeder that can grow sps and other coral

3ft fixture that sits on a 40 breeder that can grow sps and other coral. lmk
I may just buy new but lmk if you have something.
    Thanks

What I have learned is that 1WATT 10k LEDS tend to burn some zoas but sps actually grow with 1WATT LEDS on shallow tanks.
As allways placement is important. T5s dont seem to be enough. Needs to be a mixture of LED and T5.

I may go with a Marineland REEF LED in the middle and 2 2bulb T5 on both sides.

Of course a couple of DE 14k MH with T5/LED may be the way to go.

the rule with t5 is 1 bulb per 3inches of width. I had no prob growing sps with a 6 bulb t5, the one rob just sold. tank was 36x18x25 even had clam on bottom.

Nice info. Im testing a 54 watt t5 on this shallow 125. I will be upgrading it to the 80watt T5. T5s are nice but LEDS really sparkle a tank. Just like a 15k and 20k MH does.
It really makes the tank pop more than T5. So I need a fixture with a mix. Im looking for that shadow affect too. But the trick is not to burn the coral.
So those LEDS with the timers on them are really kool because they actually change the way the LED hits the coral. But Ive also noticed that they dont get the spread like
    the MH or T5 does.
