my wife knocked me out lastnight
My wife decides to spray this lavender scent on my pillow lastnight without telling me and I layed down and thought to myself.. "what's that girly smell?" before I could even process the thought I was OUT. O. U. T... OUT!
I haven't slept so well in years. I also didn't know that lavender had the ability to calm/relax you.
***edit, per Karin, not "SCENT", it is an OIL, not a scent, big difference"*** (don't want you picking up the scent and getting sick from spraying it all over your pillow lol!)

Can I get a link to that stuff? My hours are off from work and I have so much trouble getting to bed.

not sure what ones she bought, I didn't even know she had this...but here's one I found with a google search:

My wife is big on organic products so not sure if there is a different one she used perhaps from Greenfield's Market or Sunharvest etc
With 4 small children all 5 and under, full-time job, side businesses etc it's been a long while since we have had any type of decent sleep, it seems either our minds are always racing or a baby needs something... except for lastnight : )

there's a difference between 'lavender scent' and lavender essential oil. Be sure to get lavender essential oil for this, not jsut synthetic scented stuff.
I bet Whole Foods or Sprouts would have it.
when I was young I always envied the soldiers in the subway to be able to sleep wherever they can (like pull the tray from the front seat down, lay their forehead on it and zonk out).
now that I have kids I think I could do it too -just catch some sleep at a moments notice but be alert in a second (just in case they are burning the house down)

There is a farmers market at 1604 and 281 from time to time, or the one they hold at the Pearl Brewery. A family that runs a lavender farm sales all sorts of products from oil to bars of soaps. Check them out.
Should I fill strange for knowing this, lol.

lol Karin, my problem is making my mind slow down, I may be tired but I'm constantly thinking about what I have to, need to or want to do..solution - lighten the load
That stuff lastnight trumped my mind though, I was out, so yes, I'd be concerned about waking up in a moments notice. I'm sure it will also be different for everyone and maybe not even do anything for some people.
yes, Ray.... strange haha
