    Default Help regarding six line

So on Monday I came to work to find my six line laying ontop of the filter pad in the middle chamber of my biocide. I thought it wasdead but when I went to pick it up it started to flap around. There was waterflowing over the top of him so I guess this kept him alive. So I put it backinto the tank and it took cover behind the rock work. I saw it a couple oftimes this week and today. Well I noticed that it has lost its entire tailfine. I don’t know if something has been picking at it but it’s gone. He stillswims around but stays behind the rock work where I can’t get to him. I’mconcerned that he is going to die. He looks ok except for the tail. Can theylive without their tail fin? The tanks only a 14 gallon biocide with him, aclown, bi color blenny and a yeti goby and pistol shrimp pair. Please anyadvice will be helpful. Here is a pick of his tail.

Just change his name to stubby.

If you see no distress then I would not worry much right now. I would however keep an eye on it to make sure someone in the tank is not picking at him.

i would watch closely to see if the bicolor blenny is picking on it. that may be the reason it went into the overflow - to escape. if nothing is picking at it, it will probably regrow its tail.

I dont see the bi color picking on him and they have been together about a couple of months. He not the only one to go in the overflow. I have dug my clown out of the 3rd chamber twice. im making a fish guard to keep them from going in there.

    Are bi color blennies mean?
