You can have angel with your ray however before you buy angelfish do your homework, most angelfish are polyp eaters which is bad because the markings(spots) can be mistaken for polyps and that why angelfish bite rays they think their markings or spots are polyps, flame angels in my experience don't do this, in fact you can train a flame to eat brine shimp and they will leave your ray alone, also if your thinking about adding tangs the same applies tangs really aggressive tangs like the clown tangs bite the tails of rays to bully them ( yellow tangs, purple tangs don't do this as they are semi aggressive) so if the tang is an aggressive tang stay away from them as well........also spacing stingrays love lots of spacing and they like to Burrell in covered areas so make sure your ray can access the entire tank and make some caverns in your tank you will see your ray will be very happy and healthy, remember if your ray is swimming around that's a good thing but if your ray is always Burrelled that's a bad thing let me know if you have any questions.....
