Apex Jr internet help!

will i be needing to change anything in the future, if like my ip address changes or something

Time warner has dynamic IPs so it is possible your WAN IP will change, but not often. If you experience problems accessing your apex externally, check if your WAN IP has changed and use that one if it did.

its cuz my roommate resets the router some times so it might be a problem is there any other way to keep it so it does erase the port from the router

If it is reset to factory setting you will have to setup the port forward again. Your router should have the ability to backup the configuration, so that may save you some time if the router is reset often. Power cycling the device should not effect the settings.
