hello everyone i dont have mag supplements only calcium and alk .my quesion is if my calcium levels and alk are in check, is it safe to assume mag is in check?

I think it would depend how you keep your calcium and alk in check. Some calcium additives contain magnesium as well, or if you just keep up with water changes it should be ok too.

I use brs two part system so even if when my calcium and alk are in check sometimes my magnesium is low so I have to add some of the mag solution

ahh feels like im never done buying stuff for this hobby and i dont have any cash for two weeks :(so if i changed water last week i should be good ,also my calc additive is only calcium chloride

Also can depend on what salt mix you are using and what salinity you mix it up at...
