    Default Bow Front Frag Tank

Starting up a 25ish gallon bow front that i plan on just having as a frag tank to grow coral for my future big tank.

Just picked it up today and it had been stored with sand and some saltwater still in it.
The sand was all crystalized with dried salt, do you think I can still use the sand if i rinse it out some?

Pics to come, but its probably going to be a slow build and a thread FULL of questions.

Might wanna start new with fresh sand, especially since you will be housing coral. If it were a fish only tank you might could have got away with just a good rinse.

Yep. Really not worth it just start with good nice new sand. Same price as a new frag.

So i finally had some time to put some work into the frag tank.

Here is a pic of some of the mess i made making the frag rack, luckly the dyson was able to pick up all the small pieces.

    Painted the background black.

Still need to paint the frag rack black.

Tomorrow ill do the plumbing but im still cant get it running till i get more acrylic to use as baffles for the sump.
