I think this is pretty silly, be prepaired yourself. what would spring an out of nowhere leak...I'm really asking, I'm a victim. although I had everything I needed when it happened it's not hard.it's just a little more dramatic with more than 55 gallons. Just have a spare tank even if it's smaller For the time being, everything will be fine in a tiny tank for 3 days while silicone cures.

Why would it be silly? I agree that we should all be ready to take care of our own disaster. My whole porpose of joining MAAST is to learn more about the hobby from other members. But to also help others. If helping others is silly why even be part of a club to begin with. I have served my country, I serve my comunity and help others when I can. Wether in this hobby or in whatvever it maybe.. So if helping others is SILLY . Well im the silliest guy you will ever meet.

Ok I take it back rely on others at 3 in the morning for water and salt, I don't see what you serving the country has to do with marine tanks and joining this club for me is for learning and helping with info and trades not having a ton of extra water.....war is unnecessary and only kills innocent people from both side. I know what is ,it's just an ironic lyric from a son to have, After just making a strong point on War/ violence. All I am trying to say is I am a person that likes to help. Reefermadness if you ever need my help even if its a three in the morning . I will help. Thats just the kind of person I am.

I don't think what ppl have in mind is to have extra water on hand in case others have a accident...... But if u have some water that most of us normally do, and of someone happens to have a big accident or if something goes terribly wrong and needs to do a quick water change..... Then maybe some of US that are willing to help, will do just that.....

I am sorry to say but the comment about Web Members is Offensive to say the least. There are many Web members that would be glad to help. Some of the Web Members as you call them have been around before this whole MAAST thing started with the Yahoo group.
